A flight that took off from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport took a terrifying turn that left passengers and crew members shaken. Law enforcement apprehended a suspect in Miami Gardens accused of robbing two banks in Pembroke Pines.Investigators said the robber targeted the Wells Fargo branch located at 702 N. A 33-year-old Lowell woman was arrested Wednesday after allegedly leading state police troopers on a pursuit that ended in Andover, police said. State police said troopers initially tried to stop a car driven by Elena Moreira. She did not stop, though, according to police, forcing troopers to start the pursuit.
